Kemono Jihen Episode 5

S.A.W. Winter 2021: Kemono Jihen Episode 5

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Yo! Sirius here!

Rather than watching another anime, I, instead, continue to watch the next couple of episodes of Kemono Jihen. This series really piqued my interest after seeing the preview of the 5th episode.

Now here we are, and bruh, I made the best call.

Episode 5 was really enjoyable to watch and it made me like the series a bit more.

In this episode, another character was introduced. His name was Mihai, a neet vampire.

He’s quite a character.

The moment I saw how he lived in recluse, I knew he’s going to be a bit of a pain in the ass to the main gang, and I am not wrong. Lol.

He did bring a lot of fun to this series.

His personality bounces off well with the main casts and it made me look forward to more interactions. Not only that, he’s also very scheming and mysterious which made me question his intentions.

I can’t believe he was able to make Kabane his sl- follower, and of course he wins at arm wrestling, he’s a freaking vampire. His banters with Inugami-san were also funny. I’m still not sure if the injury he got in the 2nd half of the episode was self-inflicted so that he could do his schemes or was it really Kabane’s doing. Either way, he was able to do what he always wanted to do, which is to play around the gang, in his own way.

In the 2nd half of the episode, Mihai was able to trick Inugami-san and gave the gang a really hard mission.

From the initial discussion of the mission, it was quite clear that it’s going to be a hard one, but the gang still pushed through.

It was so cool to see Shiki being able to do more awesome tricks with his powers cuz the possibility is endless. He was able to use his newly found tricks in the mission and was able to investigate wtf was going on in that place.

However, Mihai being a ****, he caused a ruckus which resulted to one of the enemies discovering Shiki’s snooping. We were then left seeing Shiki panicking. And damn, that was a cliffhanger.

This made me want to watch the next episode.

But before that, we shouldn’t forget about Kabane’s and Kon’s weird but sweet interactions in this episode.

It was nice to see them bond, in their own way. I mean, after their encounters in the past episodes, the development of their relationship is nice to watch.

It’s still a bit early in the series but as seen in the OP, I think both will get closer more.

I already expressed in the previous post that I found the previous episode a bit meh. Good thing this episode was really enjoyable and good that it made me like the series again.

Damn, I’m looking forward to seeing the next episode.
