Spread the love

After watching some mediocre disappointing anime, I was looking for an anime that was fun and lighthearted. And bruh, I found one.

Galaxy Angel was one of the early animes I had seen on Animax. Along with Card Captor Sakura & Ultra Maniac, they were the source of my undying love and adoration for MOE. Lel.

Honestly speaking, I didn’t expect myself to ever watch this one again. I just stumbled onto it in an illegal streaming site, then the next thing I know, I had binge all of its season 1.

Damn. I’m crazy.

Watching this anime made me remember the good old times where I just lay on the couch eating some Nissin wafers and not worry about anything else other than enjoying the show on tv.

The story revolves around the Angel Brigade as they search for the Lost Technology. It’s simple and quite episodic. Still, it’s really enjoyable to binge-watch.

The characters were really likeable. Even though they look like the typical archetypes we see in animes, each one of them are actually unique and they have great synergy. Out of all the characters in the show, my favorite would be Milfeulle. I didn’t chose her cuz she’s the main character but because of her great interactions with everyone in the show. Her relationship with everyone is genuine and even if she’s the newbie of the group, she fits in really well.

The art and animation are quite outdated. It didn’t quite aged well. Or maybe its the copy in the illegal site that didn’t age well. LOL. Still, it doesn’t affect the enjoyment. To be exact, the art & animation actually added alot of flare to the show.

Overall, I really enjoyed watching this anime.
Galaxy Angel was one of those animes that you don’t have to take it seriously. You just need to sit back, relax, and enjoy the random antics of the characters. It’s that simple. That’s why, I totally recommend this show to everyone who just wants to watch something fun and waste your time away.
That is all.
Thanks for reading!!
