After season 2, of course I need to see the movie.

My Thoughts:

The movie didn’t disappoint. Yay!

Date A Live movie continues what was left off of the 2nd season. It still follows the typical shinenigans of the series and the most important part, all the spirits gets a date with Shidou. The dates was enjoyable to watch. Through it, we get to know more of the girls. Though I am disappointed that Kotori & Touhka’s dates were abit lackluster. Tsk. Though I do understand Kotori’s part (she is so selfless… <3 ), but cutting Touhka’s date with Shidou is fmoivhdohlasdkclsvkjdfv. Anyway. At least we get to see Touhka & Kotori in their awesome spirit forms.

And oh, I forgot to mention. I really like how the writers of this movie was able to insert Kurumi in the movie. Her appearance didn’t felt forced and was natural. Even though it was short, at least she was relevant. Ooohohohohohoh. Hooray to her fans!!

The story was delivered well. I really like how they teased Mayuri in every way possible. Though I did feel that everything is a bit rushed. It would have been nice if it was a bit longer. I mean, I understand the rushness of the dates, I really don’t care much about that. LOL. I want more of Mayuri I guess. Shidou was so protective of her, and his reaction in the movie was abit overboard. If there were more time and interaction between Mayuri & Shidou, maybe I would understand Shidou’s feelings more. You know what? I’ll just read the light novel.

This is a movie, so of course the art and animation would be a bit higher than the series. The CG of the enemy looks good in my book. I also like how the transformation sequence of the girls. Each one of them looks good. I also like the spirit look of Mayuri. So nice.

Overall, the movie was fun to watch. There are still alot of questions in my mind that are left unanswered. But screw that, I still enjoyed watching this one. Can’t wait for the 3rd season.

Thanks for reading!!
